Location: Simi Valley is located in Southeast Ventura County, adjacent to Fernando Valley and approximately 37 miles from downtown LA. The city of Simi Valley is surrounded by the Santa Susana Mountain range and the Simi Hills.

Climate: Simi Valley has a Mediterranean climate characterized by warm-to-hot summers and cool-to-warm winters.

Recreation: Large in part thanks to the Simi Valley Parks and Recreation, Simi Valley boasts a wide range of recreational facilities including numerous parks, miles of bike & trails, pools, tennis courts, a local ice skating rink and three golf courses. This city offers one of the largest equestrian trail systems in the United States, for those who love horses. If hiking, biking or horses aren’t you thing, ski & snowboard resorts are well within reach for a quick day trip or a weekend getaway. Starting with the shortest drive time, Mountain High is under 2 hours, Big Bear is about 2.5 hours away and Mammoth Mountain is roughly 4-5 hours away depending on traffic. Simi Valley is also home to a world renowned skate board park & museum, Skatelab.  

Dining & Entertainment: The city is host to a wide variety of shopping and dining, beginning with the Simi Valley Town Center. In-N-Out is a California staple that is extremely popular in this community. If you enjoy BBQ, Green Acres Farm Market is a must have in Simi Valley. This local restaurant is one of the most popular in Simi Valley as well as the neighboring communities. Harley’s offers two bowling alleys in Simi Valley, great for night time fun and activities for the kids. As for a local watering hole, Rusty’s Bar & Grill offers great food and a full bar. 

Corporations: Home to a number of major manufacturers and businesses, including Farmers Insurance, Bank of America and Kaiser Permanente.
